Here's the email I got a few hours ago. Is it me, or did they bump up the SS hp rating? I thought it was originally 422hp, but now they're saying 426hp. The LS3 must of gotten a little better factory tune or something.

or they dynoed a different engine on a different dyno on a different day in different weather......4hp isnt that much.....

The 426 is the official dyno. There is a lot of est. dyno numbers, but untill its certified, its just all rumors.
the ZR1 was said to have 620hp, it ended up with 638
The CTS-V said to have 550, it was cert. for 556.

Finally...but seems like its a day late and a buck short. GM is asking the govt for another 30 billion dollars. What could they possibly need that much money for? Are they selling any cars at all?

No, they are asking for 16 billion, to add to the 14 they have now, for a total of 30b.

Oh well thats still a tremendous amount of money. I hope the camaro lives long enough to get the bugs worked out so i can buy one used in a few years. haha
