this is for you alex and every else with a motorcycle: be careful, life is precious.....

I watched a friend get killed in front of us yesterday on delsea dr. 1 Minute he's talking to us about to go home, 20 seconds later he's been killed.

for everyone, please just be careful what you do out there, even in cars. i see people flying on bikes all the time and in cars all the time thinking they're invincible. reality: YOU'RE NOT INVINCIBLE. No matter what you or anyone thinks.

That has to be the most common way that deadly bike accidents happen. People just don't see them coming. Sorry for your loss Eric.

Wow, that sucks. Sorry to hear about your friend. Unfortunately, bikes don't offer much protection no matter who's fault the accident is.

:( so sorry to hear, seems like every spring there is something like this that I hear about. Life is too precious not to take extra time at an intersection to be sure it's clear. RIP

As a fellow rider, I hate seeing things like this. Typically when it comes to bike accidents, it doesn't matter who's fault it is outside of court, the biker usually loses. I have found that cagers (cars) are less aware of bikes in the early riding season and have a tendency to 'not see them'. Loud pipes help, but the sound is traveling behind you, not in front.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

It's for reasons like this that I am make myself watch bike crash vids/pics and read things like this from times to time to remind myself how dangerous riding actually is. When I am out there I forget about it sometimes and then I read things like this and think "Geeze, that could happen any time to anyone".

I just wish that cars paid more attention and actually looked for us bikers on the road instead of thinking they are the only ones on the road. Things like this sicken me, knowing that the difference between saving a life and killing somebody is as easy as looking twice, and yet some people don't even try.

Again, I am so sorry. I hope your friend rests in piece.

that area is bad for driving cause people coming from woodbury/glassboro rd never look when they merge on delsea. Then you get one person that does stop before they merge and they get rear ended.

Very unfortunate to hear Eric. I never noticed how many people blow stop signs until I started riding.
