on my car im missing the front line, where does that line go to?

Look like you are talking about the hose that runs under the TB and connects to the purge line ( hat is with the fule lines).

That line is for the evap purge from the gas tank/charcoal cannister. If you don't already have it bookmarked, 4th gen LT1 tech aids (http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech1.html) is a great collection of information, especially for diagrams and part numbers.
