I'm in the market for a new daily. Its between an fbody, Corvette, evo or wrx. I really want a 6 spd trans am, but the 4 doors on the evo and wrx would be awesome. I cant say I want a vette right now, maybe ever, Unless its a z06...
I should be getting an even BETTER job with the township pretty soon and its almost about time for my sc2 to go.
It looks like its clean, from what I can see its got a lid and magnaflow?

What do you have to spend and what is your criteria for a DD?
I look at f body's and WRX/ EVO's as completely different cars.

Id like to keep it under 15,000, the more stock and the lower miles the better. Insurance plays a big factor. I need something that will be reliable and get me to work and school for at least the next four years. I would rather have the fbody, But the four doors and awd of a wrx does sound appealing.

wouldn't it be a better idea to wait until you actually have the money in hand before you decide to spend it? I understand the allure of having cooler wheels than the splaturn, but that can't be an excuse to abandon logic.
Didn't you just have your bike listed because you wanted to save money for college? If you are serious about going to school then save your money and think big picture. I dunno where you are going to school, but in the time it takes to graduate you will come out many times further ahead if you put some time into planning your finances now.

^ +1. get the priorities straight lol.
and the point of a beater is to beat on it. my civic gets door dings and stuff all the time at my school i wouldnt ever think of driving a nice car there, friend of a friend got his brand new mercedes dinged real good there. the gas mileage is good, and is very reliable.
but dude your choices are all over the place, types of cars, power plants, and price..

yeah thats the truth...Im really sorry i didnt keep my last car because i owed like 2k on it and the payments where cheap to where i could still go to school and not work a ton....i made the mistake of buying a jeep while in school and money is a lot tighter. Not so fun. You really dont want a nice car at school anyways. People on campus drive like jerks all the time, cant tell you how many accidents i avoided.
Nice car tho :)

as time passes, banks will no longer finance a 2002... i'm fairly certain we're on the tail-end of that period now, it being 7 years old. i don't know what banks are likely to do these days with all of the uncertainty, so i wouldn't count on a bank for financing if that's what you plan to do. of course, you can always go the 'personal loan' route, but you end up with a higher interest rate. you do not want to be married to a car payment while in school. if you default three months in a row, the repo boys will be out looking for it, and they don't play fair. think before you commit.

Where the hell are you getting this money from? It doesn't seem to make sense for you to do that at all.
i have a friend that declared bankruptcy when he was 19 because he spent money like a moron. it took him years to be able to get a CELL PHONE on his own let alone anything else. he is 27 and making very good money and will STILL have a problem buying a house because of what happened 9 years ago..........
have fun matt, i hope you love living at moms house

I was not telling him what to do. If it sounded that way I apologize, I simply said, FROM EXPERIENCE, its not a good idea to have a nice car and a payment while in college. whether he does it or not means nothing to me. SORRY for trying to give some advice so other people can maybe learn something.

not your fault, we have just learned from experience that it is a waste of time to use logic on wayfast

Whether or not some people like to admit it, Matt does ask questions that we all know a lot of kids want to ask or are thinking about. If he listens to our advice or not may be a different story, but there is no harm in people answering the question asked as it may help Matt or another member who is thinking the same thing.
Everybody take a deep breath and relax. If the contents of Matt's or any other members threads are so horrible, try not clicking on them.

Not yelling at you, yelling at Matt (wayfast) by telling several of you to stop wasting your time.
Just search all this "what do you think?" threads and you will have enough to read for months.
Sometimes people ont his site help him
Somtimes he takes the advice
Sometimes the people that help him get burned.
Dont waste your time trying to show logic, or try to guide him down the right path.
He spent a crap load of money on his 84 Firebird in which he claimed he was gunna be racing all around. He got it back, and it was a race car. It was way too much for him to handle, and he gave up on it. I wont even get into everything involved with that, but he is now selling it after YEARS of being on here talking about it.
The only thing that he has done with any major conviction is jerk off on his face.
close this thread adn any other future threads where Wayfast is going to ask for help because he will do what he wants anyway. So just agree with him or move on.
Wayfast knows what he should do. He's not a dumb boy. He knows that doing certain things will get him into trouble, either current or future.
Matt, you can bitch and moan, leave the site, but you will continue to do stupid things. Untill you snap the **** out of it, you will continue to make poor choices.
If you want to go to college, go
If you want to buy cars and get a job, do that
If you want to j/o on your face, dont post it up on SSU.
If you want to j/o on your face, dont post it up on SSU.

Enough of the wayfast bashing. If it is such a struggle for you guys to do anything but rip on him for posting, don't click on the thread. It's not a complicated concept, although it seems a bit beyond some of your comprehension.
