I'd come up and give you a yank with my Jeep, but I'm at work until midnight.

Where are you exactly? If illegal, please PM.

Justin, Its a very illigal spot... a wildlife conservation...

No offense, but these ruts were dug with trucks with 44's... you'd probably have a hard time getting back there.

Yea, I talked to him via PM and he showed me where he was. My Jeep won't yank a well stuck full size pickup anyway, not enough weight / traction.

This storm is only going to make things worse too....hopefully they are already out of there....

I just figured I would toss out some help to a fellow Jeeper if I could.

As soon as i read "we tried using the second one" I knew what was up...kinda funny but i know it sucks. Ive gotten my truck stuck more than once. And embarasingly was able to get pulled out by a quad once or twice. Its worth it to stay out of mud, as you and I have learned the hard way

With the tires that are on that Ram I'm surprised the owner even went back there. It was bad enough that the two lightweight Jeeps got stuck, what did he think he was going to accomplish?

Thunder - are you on JeepForum.com?

that one pool there is about 10 feet deep...

like i said, trucks with 44's and 454's dug all those..

well we actually got the ram on solid ground but it when the jeep got unstuck, the ram went sliding into that pit. we really had no other options.
And no, i didnt know there was a jeep forum ill check it out though.
and ya njtourqe ur right, we VASTLY underestimated the mud pits back there

It's a great forum, tons of info, as long as you can weed through the normal BS that occurs on a site that large. I have the same username there....

Great pics! Wow!

On a serious note, please stay out of illegal spots. It's great you didn't get caught, but if you had, you'd be one more person for the off road hating hippies to point fingers at and give those of us who only wheel legally a bad name. The hippies are fighting to shut down public land to wheeling every day, and the most recent casualty is Tellico in NC. For more info, check out:

http://www.nohvcc.org/

And when you're ready to wheel legally, check out:

http://www.northjerseyjeepclub.org/

Good people, good wheeling, good times.
