Well, i'm going to be transferring to a four year school in the fall, giving me 2 more years of school at least to complete. The way I figure, its going to run me about 15k per year to do so, and I'm going to try to tackle it without a loan. But here's the problem. I pretty much need to get rid of a vehicle to help out. I don't really HAVE to, but I could pretty much use the extra cash. Heres the 3 vehicles.
91 C1500, 4.3 TBI, 700r4. It has about 155k miles. It gets about 20 mpg on a good day with enough power to move almost anything you can fit in the bed. Haven't pulled a trailer with it though. It's got a new exhaust, and about 30k miles ago I decided to rebuild the top end because I had to replace the valve guide seals and had access to a valve cutting machine. I think I can get maybe $1500 for it. This truck has a lot of sentimental value...
91 Full size Blazer, 5.7 TBI, 700r4, 3.73 gears. It's only got 50k miles since it wasn't really driven much...it was our family road trip vehicle before my dad passed away. Since then between me and my mom we got about 10k on it from mixed driving. Its near perfect for its age. I would like to think I could get $5000 for it but I don't know what they go for in this shape. This truck has a lot of sentimental value...
'79 Z28, New LT1 swap, 700r4, 4.10 gears, posi rear. Just did a lot for this car. Has about 72k on it now. Not even sure what I can get for it. I'd like to think 8k because I have way more than that into it, but who knows. This car doesn't really have any sentimental value...
Or should I just try to keep them?
