Well, i'm going to be transferring to a four year school in the fall, giving me 2 more years of school at least to complete. The way I figure, its going to run me about 15k per year to do so, and I'm going to try to tackle it without a loan. But here's the problem. I pretty much need to get rid of a vehicle to help out. I don't really HAVE to, but I could pretty much use the extra cash. Heres the 3 vehicles.

91 C1500, 4.3 TBI, 700r4. It has about 155k miles. It gets about 20 mpg on a good day with enough power to move almost anything you can fit in the bed. Haven't pulled a trailer with it though. It's got a new exhaust, and about 30k miles ago I decided to rebuild the top end because I had to replace the valve guide seals and had access to a valve cutting machine. I think I can get maybe $1500 for it. This truck has a lot of sentimental value...

91 Full size Blazer, 5.7 TBI, 700r4, 3.73 gears. It's only got 50k miles since it wasn't really driven much...it was our family road trip vehicle before my dad passed away. Since then between me and my mom we got about 10k on it from mixed driving. Its near perfect for its age. I would like to think I could get $5000 for it but I don't know what they go for in this shape. This truck has a lot of sentimental value...

'79 Z28, New LT1 swap, 700r4, 4.10 gears, posi rear. Just did a lot for this car. Has about 72k on it now. Not even sure what I can get for it. I'd like to think 8k because I have way more than that into it, but who knows. This car doesn't really have any sentimental value...

Or should I just try to keep them?

If I had the money I would gladly take the LT1 car off your hands. :(

The only car that I could somewhat see someone wanting to keep would be the z28. Get rid of the other junk and go to school.

I vote for the Blazer. They have a huge fan base; lots of people would pay good money for one in nice shape like you say yours is. $5K isn't out of the question for the right buyer. Besides, selling the WT for $1500 isn't really going to help your financial situation; you're better off selling one of the more expensive vehicles.

not financially worth it to sell the pickup. I would say Blazer.

If you dont have payments on any of them, I would keep them all. You wont get what you put into your Camaro, it isnt worth selling your work truck if you are only gonna get $1500 for it, the blazer is very desirable and worth a good buck but it wont cover much of what you need. Get a loan to pay for school and keep your vehicles.

School has priority. I voted the pickup since it sounds like the blazer might be better to hang onto. Or maybe get rid of both & get a beater.

but beaters get expensive too cause they break down. i say dump the truck before it dies

the whole point of buying a beater is getting one that doesn't break down. or even one that breaks down less

I voted for the pickup but on second thought sell the camaro and the pickup. Use the Blazer as the DD and live loan free. You'll be better off in the long run.

Alright, thanks for the ideas. I think i might go for getting rid of the blazer and the pickup, and maybe get something a little newer and put the rest towards school. I don't really need the pickup, since I could always borrow someone elses truck if I really needed a truck. All I really need is a decent sized trunk to put my tools and supplies I keep in my truck. My pickup right now is a rolling shop on wheels. Even though i really want another f-body, I don't think it would be practical for me...I would like maybe a full size GM car powered by the infamous 3.8
