went to island for the first day of real racing, and was beat first round! thats not what bothers me, its the fact that i was getting great lights all morn. and did just that in my first round. however dialing a 10.0 and going 9.93 with a .007 light against a .002 with a 10.30 dial going 10.33 doesnt cut it. anyhow.....................im done complaning ............for now

so it was a double break out but the .002 won him the race? sorry for the silly question, i have been around racing for a long time but am still kinda new to the ins and outs of bracket racing

nah im the jack hole that broke out, he went 10.33 to his 10.30 dial, so he was safe.
i couldnt slow the car down at all!! 1st pass went 9.77 @139mph
then i added 2 quarts of oil to make it an even 7 qts. and moved the shift point from 7200 down to 6000 and still managed to go 9.86 my last pass.

the reason i dont run the 9's is because im not allowed, the car doesnt have enough cage and does not cert. if it were my car i wouldnt have this prob. but i am thankful to have such an awesome ride.

yeah for some reason i got dyslexic over just he one part, and thought it said 10.30 on a 10.33 dial.

Gotta learn how to play the top end or put a throttle stop on it.

When I used to race a lot I would get to the track and set my mirrors up for maximum chasing of the opposite lane. Stay in it and concentrate on my driving until I put it in high gear and then start watching/guesstimating my need to stay in it or lift

We opened the season this past weekend and had two guys with perfect lights lose 1st round and neither broke out! That's a kick in the pants!
