Need a pair for the back of my 17x11's... the Sumitomos are almost done.

Here is what I should do... These are basicly going to be street rims, car doesnt get driven much if at all in the rain -

Go back to the sumis(cheap) which when new hooked OK on the car when it was bolt ons

-or-

Go to a nitto drag radial?

are you planning on running them a lot at the track?

The only way they'd be at the track if I'm too lazy to swap on my 15's... but I'm not expecting to hook with either tire.

I'd honestly stick to the Sumis, they are a great cheap tire, and you can easily save a couple bucks and spend the rest of the money elsewhere. Sumi's are also one of the wider appearing 315's so its an advantage as far as appearance goes.

If you are looking at a DR, Nitto would be my last choice.

Just as a street tire...

Then it would be my first choice or the new Nitto Invos if they come in 315.

sounds like he's looking for a streeet tire, not a track only tire.

if you have to do Drag radials on a mostly street car that will be driven in the rain, Nitto FTW

if you want to hook better at the track but wont see rain M/T street radial ftw

if you want to drive safe in the rain on a DR, m/t FTL

Yeah, I run an ET street on my 15's... since the sumi and nittos were my cheapest options in said size... that why I was asking about them.

If all you are worried about is price why not just buy the cheapest tires?
