The closest salvage yard to you that has one is like 40 miles away and its like 75 dollars. The cheapest any yard sells these for though is like 50 - 60 dollars and one's that price are usually pretty scratched up or have small cracks/chips.

^^^This one is actually pretty cheap. Classic Industries is the only place I find that sells them brand new. And it's like 350 for one side. It's hard to get one in good condition for cheap. Your best bet is to go on LS1tech and check out the classifieds section. Look around to see if anyone is parting a car out. But you gotta be fast, those tail lights go quick.

I paid 100 for my set of honeycombs (which are close to perfect shape.)but I was in no rush and looked for probably close to a year.

damn, too bad ls1techs search bar is non-operable or else it would be a lot easier. also that ebay link that you sent me says that there are minor scratches, don't know if i want to settle on a tail light w/ scratches just yet. And formulatlt1 you got your set for $100 thats sick, FIND ME ONE!!!

The cheapest one I see available now that doesn't state any damage is like 60 + shipping but like I said it took me a long ass time to find a set for a 100. You probably don't want to wait a year. I also bought a working supercharger kit for 450 and a 30K Vette LT1 4 bolt main with accesorys for 300 just to put into perspective how sometimes you just are in the right spot at the right time but it doesn't always happen.

wow. i would've bought one longgg ago if i had been able to find em that cheap. just looked on car-parts.com and they go as low as like 20-35 bucks in ehhh condition.

will they be able to give me a better idea of condition before i buy? that ebay one for example is completely faded. all the reflective paint on the inside is gone. that happened to mine so i had to pry it apart and repaint it. chipped the corner in the process. that along with the 4 inch crack down it that was already there is why i'm replacing it.

I have had them email me a pic before they shipped or billed me before but they can usually give you a good idea of condition over the phone.
