Finally got my hands on a Cadillac 500, It's about that time to start ripping at the GTO. This might go slowly with my crappy job however.

Also, I'm still looking for 500's. My truck needs some torque.

What's you plan? I remember people running them years ago, if I recall the 500's had oiling issues that prevented them from making good performance engines?

+1 on your intentions? I think there is a comany that specializes in 472's&500's. If I an remembering right they get some pretty big power out of them too. Def cool and unique, good luck.

The GTO was given to me without an engine, it had a 400 that the original owner gave away.

I like the 500 more than pontiacs 455. its bigger, stronger, lighter, and more unique. i plan on making building it pretty mild 550hp 650tq ish. this is also the eldorado version, so i get a rear sump pan as an added bonus. it also has a th350 in it right now, im throwing around the idea of a 700r4 for the overdrive(built of course).

there are several companies specializing in cad500 performance.

picking it up before the weekend.

Try going to Harry's U-Pull-It in Hazelton. They usually have a few hanging around
