I'm not going to get political even though Fritz was on Glenn Beck...

It was an interesting interview, about 15-20 minutes long...did anyone see it?

I'm not sure if/when it'll be on Youtube.

I was shocked to hear Fritz say he thinks the UAW is part of GM's SOLUTION.

Either he was serious or he was playing nice.

How? Union talk and asking if anyone saw the interview is political? Yikes, I didn't get that memo.

Frosty no offense to you or anyone else..but its really tiring to go over the union/anti-union conversation over and over again

but i would like to hear what he has to say so thank you for sharing

The point was to advise people he was on, I was surprised by his UAW comment, I didn't make any comment about my feelings on said comment...

EDIT: I'm going to play nice. My comments weren't to start a debate over unions, I was merely shocked that he said what he said.

However I can certainly go there if you want to accuse me of it. :D:D:D ;)

lol....it was obvious in the first post how you felt. im not going to get into whether or not trained people should be paid fairly and receive benefit packages.

i tell you what though, after 6 years of my company choking, money grubbing, scumbag union training, id gladly wager that i would outperform and out skill any electrician from the other side of the fence.

its just the PA mentality...You're all smarter than us...

but really though, i dont have anything against you at all.

I grew up in NJ...no one from PA or NJ is smart, this entire area is full of jackasses, I wish I could move.

Seriously, it's a close competition as to what state sucks more....

...and not all unions are bad...just most of them

Seriously man. I'd love to move to the southwest, one of the Carolinas or Flori-duh.

Unfortunately I'm stuck here for a while. I'm so sick of PA, I actually thought about moving back to NJ but that's like going from a Ford to a Chrysler, no real benefit.

i also belive most unions suck! esp the UAW... and on the other hand... some unions are essential, like ones that cover gov workers and such

I should have never mentioned the word union. That wasn't the point of this thread.

Geography fail. But yeah i dont think unions are part of the solution. Not saying either way, havent dont much research into the matter. Im sure GM would be profitable if you knocked the corporation off the top of it and let the engineers run everything. Their problem now is bad choices all through the 2000s, nothing they can do about it now but wait it out.

My guess is reading fail. I believe Frosty wants to move to the southwest OR one of the Carolinas OR Florida.

And no I didn't see this interview yet.

Didnt see it, but did you expect him to rail into the UAW?
He needs the UAW to keep going and making cars, while they move to help restructure and reorganize the company without falling into Chap 11.

They need to just file Chapter 11 and be done with it.
