Any sponsor do dyno or in the car tuning for a 1995 LT1?

Josh hooked me up with Brian from PCMforLess when i needed to get my car tuned, its going to be harder to find a tuner for a 95 though. OBDII connector with OBDI PCM i believe

Well I have the cable so if he has the software, it can be done.

Your green car or the red I thought both cars were done already?

the green car, i want to get a wideband on it to check because it smells overly rich. and i dont mean no cats rich because im used to that.

No problem, but a cam with alot of overlap will run rich at low rpm its just what they do..

any way we can check it without diving head first into a tune? i believe its a PCMforless mail order tune

If Bryan did the tune I would bet money it is where it should be. There is no one better when it comes to LT1 tuning than him.

Not that you aren't a awesome tuner but never has a more correct statement been spoken. All his tunes are based on dyno changes he had to make to create more power or to create a more friendly driver car with your same exact mods. He is 98.99999999999999% of the time as close to dead on as anyone with a mail order tune has ever come.

No offrense taken, since I met Bryan I have learned more about efi tuning then I ever thought I would know. He really has an excellent knowledge of computer programming and just as much practical experience. I am fortunate to be able to work with him on a regular basis.

We can tune ANYTHING!

Would a Accel Gen 7 DFI system be any easier than a stock OBDI PCM to tune?

JSPERFORMANCE

Easier? Not really, just different..

Even Cavaliers!

What he CAN tune and is WILLING to tune may be different!

I don't think he will be willing to tune 93's after he got done working all the gremlins out of my car,,,,, he may still be twitching a bit!

I have a few minor, none tune related, things to do to my car before it hits the track June 6th. But the short drive I did take in my car and clearly it's 100% better then it was!

John, yours wasnt that bad once we got all the mechanical gremlins worked out the tuning was done in about 2 hours, that includes the cool down time and part throttle stuff.

Bob, the cavalier was definately an experience, I dont think I will see many more like yours!

Is it a Dyno tune ? Or a HighWay tune ?

LTb1ow
07-17-2009, 05:21 AM
I believe it is a base tune from PCMforless, and then nailed down with some on street wideband testing.

I know Bryan does some of the tuning at JS Performance but I don't think they are just generic "mail order tunes".

As I have said before Brian at Pcm4less helps us out very frequently with our computer programs but every car is a little different so they all get a little tweaking from there. We handle the majority of bolt on cars without hitting the dyno. We do have access to one for the wilder combinations which we rent on an hourly basis.

Can't wait for the new shop, we won't have to rent a dyno anymore..

He could be tuning with MS paint as far as I care, it was a day and night improvement.
