well the newest f-body is 7 years old. new ''camaro'' is out. its gonna push prices down....once the camaro tanks though it'll rise again. only 4th gens that are gonna be worth anything are the ceta's, ss's and true ws-6's

Ws6s prob wont be worth that much except for the rare colors. there were quite abit made. v8 formulas might be worth something if in good condition

KBB/Edmunds don't show the particularly precise prices. For F-bodies they've always shown lower numbers than reality for NJ. Or has your car turned 10 years? The KBB number tanks immediately. Well, maybe the real one too.

I don't recall my SS being worth 11-13K anytime in the last year or 2 on KBB. But KBB is meaningless when real buyers are paying what it takes to buy the car. If KBB says your car is worth $5K but you have guys lined up wanting to buy it at $7K then obviously you're going to get $7K for it. But don't expect the 7K in a trade in, that's the real purpose of KBB.

Not really, it won't have any bearing on the Fbody Firehawk prices...and it's a moot point anyway since the G8 is going bye bye.

when i bought my camaro last month, kbb said 9700 was what it was worth. it said the same exact car but z28 was worth 9300. Nada seems to be a more accurate choice for car values...

Hyrbid Camaro = 4th gen chassis, first gen body pannels.

Your car is worth only as much as someone is willing to pay for it... Never know what someone will pay for a mint 4th gen in 20 years when there not many nice left.

My 1999 saturn sc2 hasn't changed value 1 dollar since i bought it 3 years ago and went from 65k to 105k.

I've put 22k on the firebird in the past 6 years at a total of 54k. I don't even want to know what the value is now.

Oh. That equals biggest waste of time & $$ ever.

I hate that term - in car lingo a hybrid is a prius, not an engine swap. Retards with LS motors, they think they invented engine swaps so much they gave it a name. Why not keep going, give everything a new name. The sky is now called Noasghe. There is now a number between 6 and seven called Xkjhd. Pompous asses.

When my 67 gets an LS motor, guess what? It's still just a camaro with a chevy V8.

:soapbox:

Wouldn't that be considered a handicapped hybrid then!

I definately second this. I have already had offers of up to 25,000 grand for my Formula in its current form and I will not sell. With that much they can easily just copy or set up something close to how my vehicle is. Though I dont suggest copying anybody you should be original. Like was said before the values are set by what people are willing to pay.
