my dashboard has a pretty nasty crack in it and im going to replace it. id rather have someone tell me how its done right so i dont end up breaking anything

a guy i used to work at my last shophad a few formulas that body style but i never saw them, so i dont know if he is full of **** or not but he said the easiest way for him was having the glass removed and taking it out that way. I wish i had some more info for you.

take off the upper dash pad. be careful its brittle. your probably gonna break a tab or two. it just pries off. theres bolts under there...under the gauge cluster area...and under the passenger and driver side underdash beauty cover. get a steering wheel puller and pull the wheel and there you go.

remove a-pillar covers, glove box door, and the panels below the dash. then remove the upper dash cover like mentioned above, and the radio/hvac stuff.......


then just start looking for bolts and lightly pulling on the dash as you go to see if anything is holding it in. you can get the dash out without removing the steering column, but you might have to loosen it up and let it hang a little bit

get a steering wheel puller and pull the wheel and there you go.

completely unnecessary. Just lower the whole steering column.

thats what i was hoping to hear. haha i dont have money for new tools, thanks guys
