someone else will execute your idea. work has started on my daughter's car, an '87 coupe that had a six cylinder in it from the factory. before i got my hands on it, someone had shoehorned a 350 in between the fenders. the plan was to convert the exterior over to a '92 via the GFX and hood. also, i wanted to transplant in a 406. the suspension was going to get a full work-over and new paint was going to top it all off (and showcase my bodywork). lots of people have or will have a 406, but not many take the body changes this far:
note the GFX and the hood blisters, not to mention the classic paint scheme

well, the plan is still on. i like how it looks and now i don't feel the least bit guilty about changing an older car into a younger one. of course the other plans for the car are still on, and with what this thing will be breathing with, not to mention the suspension work, it will be a real tire-scorcher as well as a head-turner.

awesome looking car. It looks familiar, i think it was for sale on ebay a little while back? The stance is awesome, makes me want to lower mine a little more.

i've got a special plan for the third light. it involves a certain item i picked up several years ago with LED lights in it and some plastic work to encase it in place of the existing light...
can't let the cat out of the bag. i know no one will have this in their car and i don't want to let out too many details or someone might beat me to the punch - like this car did with the GFX and hood, hi-rise spoiler... suffice to say there is a plan.

87-90=in spoiler (camaro)
it's in the duck-tail spoiler. my daughter doesn't want a wing, so i have to use the existing opening in the duck-tail spoiler for the third light.

i know she will because she is going to be right next to me as we work on it together. it's always more appreciated when your own blood, sweat and tears go into it.

if you missed the big "HOT ROD" in the lower right hand corner of the pics, then you probably completely passed over the names of the files as having "hotrod.com" in them...
i first saw it in the magazine, then online and decided to break the news of my project after seeing his.
btw, for those keeping score, i am slowly getting the car back to the point where it was when i left it alone. surface rust FTL. instead of priming and then just blowing some rattle-can on the panels for storage, i kept telling myself i'd get back to it in short order... now the surface of some of the panels is pitted, so the plastic filler will get a little more use.

That will definitely be a nice car! I love the white and orange stripes theme. I put a 91-92 chin spoiler on my car and have the side GFX to put on also, just need to paint them.

not a big fan of the hood blisters, i personally favor the iroc hood, with the louvers on the hood. either way will be a beautiful car
