No, its a spoof on it.
Funny, but in the end it comes off as stupid.
Everyone acts as if GM and the Big 3 are the only ones to make cars NOT in America. They rip on GM for making cars in Mexico...stupid. Im sure the thousands of Mexican workers that do put together some good cars are glad that GM has come down there to build a plant. Im also sure that the VW the creator of this spoof drives around in came from Mexico as well.
Lighter, faster, greener, is that really Japanese? Since Toyota is now the largest automotive company, and also the producer of some of the worlds worst fuel effiecent vehicles, can all that be disreguarded because of the Prius?
For 100 years, GM has been screwing us? Yeah, the really jammed it up our "tail pipes" in WW2. Not to mention the millions of people that have worked for GM, giving them world class healthcare and job support, putting people through college, and developing some of the worlds most innovative products.
Yeah...****ed right in the ass.

If it wasn't for the big 3, after WWII Japan would be a third world country, and there would be no honda, toyota, etc etc.
