if you borrow someones else's EZ pass, can you still dispute a ticket you got?

somehow i got a ticket for not paying, but i was using my friends EZ pass. im 100 percent positive i had it on my window when i went under, ive gone up and down the GSP many many times.

I switch my EZpass amongst all the vehicles. occasionally it will not register & you get a letter from EZPass with 3 options. the easiest is to provide the account # and pay the toll. this option does not have a fine attached. if you were pulled over, I'm not sure how that works especially in your case where you are not the owner of the account and have violated the EZPass contract IIRC. you are supposed to have one for each vehicle and only be used by the account holder.

their rules say no, the tag can only be used on the car(s) registered on the account

good luck though

all you have to do is put the account number on the piece of paper and if they say anything just have him say it was him in the car ive done it before it's no big deal they just bill him the 50 cents of whatever it was

I was in this same situation basically. I had my friends truck with EZ Pass and it didn't register the exit plaza, I just put the account number and info and sent it back. They charged me for the toll on my account
