I was talking with the wife the other day and I was shocked that she didn't know what a chocodile was..... and sad as it may be, she has never had one?!?!?!?

Now, I haven't seen them in stores in ages...... but I found them online:
http://www.freshchocodiles.com/

Anyone old enough to remember chocodiles???

I thnk I will have to order some.

I got bored and found that Hostess discontinued them for the East Coast?!?!?! What a crock of *****!

first of all .. it was an unsuccessful joke. AND SECONDLY, i never said deoderant causes cancer, i said ANTIPERSPIRANTS do! which they do! although no research has been conducted to either support or argue this case, it is scientifically theorized that by clogging the pores w/ an antiperspirant you are forcing your body to unnaturally sweat in other areas, such as behind your ears, and possibly causing you to internally sweat, which therefore causes cancer. .. it's an idea, not a fact yet, but until they prove me otherwise I will only use deodorant.

Off topic- corrolation does not equal causation. This is the same as the artificial sweetener/brain tumor debate, or the razor stimulation = more hair one.

A theory is just that. A theory.

On topic:

No, I don't remember them. I remember Zingers, though. And Little Debbie Jelly Rolls. Not sure if you can get either now.

Yep I remember buying these when I was about 11 or 12 years old. It's basically a twinkie with a chocolate coating these were pretty darn good. Me and my buddies used to buy a pack and wash them down with chocolate milk, good stuff. I think they still sell em in California.

Chocodiles were popular in the mid to late 70's, maybe into the early 80's on the east coast. Then they discontinued them here who knows why poor sales maybe.

I remember them, but did not like them. I was a suzy-q and cupcake guy. We had a hostess shop right down the street so we got a lot of hostess stuff.

The only cupcakes I ever really liked

Now, how many are old enough to remember getting base ball cards on the bottom of hostess boxes?

Not as old as you. Plus I got most of my hostess cards years after they were issued. Probably from a crotchety old guy like you.
