Stalling? You backed out of every race i threw at you when you would have clearly handed me my ass as i was not fully ready. It took you forever to even agree to a track pass when you said the track knew your car and would not let you run then you come back and say later you make passes their all the time so which is it?

Im not going to run you with out Jay being there since its his car and his money.

I am confident thats why Jays bet was 1000 you must not be confident since you came back with You only putting up 150 and leaving it up to your crew to make up the difference.

This bad ass LS1 is stock internal cam only to your fully built forged motor with aftermarket heads as you decribed in your for sale listing.

I've never once lied about it... 350 with an .041 nitrous jet, single 3" exhaust, and aside from the LCA's my suspension is bone stock. It doesnt even have frame connectors... All of this i'm willing to bet on just like you guys are willing to bet about your heads.

It does not matter what either car has done or not done to it. The race should be interresting and has brought this forum to life. I know it seems like there is alot of money into jays car, but it is really just alot of time searching for deals and good hand me down parts. Im just looking forward to seeing the race next week.8-)

I have a 350 thats been bored .040 ...you bore a block to make it useable, not to gain power... it's still a 350 just been rebuilt several times... 3.48" cast crank with a 4.040" bore... i guess thats technically like 356.x ci

This was a tough 45 minutes of wrenching and we invested tens of dollars just to try to keep up... Hope we're bringing enough to the plate with our 75 shot. See what I did there? I made a pun... get it? "enough to the plate"? :rofl: man, I crack myself up sometimes... anyway, see you guys friday.

pretty sure my cam is slightly smaller but not to a point that it should win/lose the race. but im full bolt ons with full rod end suspension and a 12 bolt and ill be on slicks. my car also needs to go on a diet

Edit: Yes i realize that but my car went 12.65 on a 2.3 60' spinning the tires and clutch half way down the track. he should be bottom 11s on spray

They're also calling for isolated t-storms all throughout south jersey - I live an hour from the track and am not very interested in getting stuck in a thunderstorm on slicks and no wipers :-?

The chances of this happening tonight are getting slim.... MIKES NOTCH and I fixed the electrical problem last night but still need to finish it up so we'll be cutting it down to the wire today... They're also calling for isolated t-storms all throughout south jersey - I live an hour from the track and am not very interested in getting stuck in a thunderstorm on slicks and no wipers :-?

twice? when was the first time? I've been nothing but fair to you guys. The first night you guys wanted to run on the street I said for you to go out to the road first and test it out to see how your car hooks - Then we both agreed to run the following weekend. Then... you guys asked to run at the track that one friday, I went there and saw your car was running bad so I didn't even bother asking. Once again, I was being nice and letting you work out the bugs.

Everyone has their own opinion on what is a street car... As for me, I built my car to drive it. By no means is it the fastest thing out there but I can fill it up at WaWa, drive an hour to the track, stage the car without ever shutting it off, and bust off bottom 11's on motor with a tight nitrous converter and 3.92 gear. Doesn't seem to extraordinary but this is a 10:1 350 built in my backyard using hand-me-down parts. It's never been on a dyno, never been wrenched on by a shop, and I haven't even touched the tune since putting it together... It's been together for a year now and the only maintenance I've done is change the oil. The only time it's broke on me is when my alternator took a dump at Atco but I made it all the way home on nothing but walmart battery power.

If that isn't a street car then I don't know what is...

Well, first that is your car NOT your engine like stated, parts and tools are two different things unless you like to eat paste and can't tell the difference. I comprehend perfectly that everytime you describe your engine something changes (unless you are trying to sell it ofcourse). My truck is at RK in Vineland... go look at it yourself. It's a dark green Ram QC... There was no punk out money put up and a race never happened so i owe no one a dime. Keep in mind they wanted to run a few fridays ago and when i went to the track their car was running like crap so out of respect i gave them more time to tune it... now i get into a car accident the day of the race and i owe them money? pa-leeeze.


now if TMR wants to do it another time thats fine, if not no biggie to me. There are plenty of other fish to fry out there.

Its all good man, I am going to be switching blowers probably in the near future to something a little bigger and I ain't going to cry over getting a beating on the track(we all should be humbled every now and again IMO). I was planning on throwing it back on when I got the car back from the body shop anyway, this just gives me a little more nudge to get it done quickly. I was sick and tired of hearing people who haven't seen it in a while say "WTF is the blower". I just hope I don't pile up the ticket collection like I got when I first put it on.

Edit- Although, I think I learned how to stay under the radar a little better now.

yea we never agreed to a race the day we were both at the track, we were still tuning my car n he new that,he never even came over to us. the only date agreed upon to race was june 26 for a 150 bucks.

I had a whole idea of what I wanted when I started the build and scrapped what I had and started over a few times but what I ended up with is a mild mannered car that if you heard idle would have no idea what is done to it, I didn't go all out with it cause I wanted something I would feel comfortable taking around the corner to grab a sandwich or sitting next to a cop at a light, I just ported the heads in my garage with stock cast and matched the intake cause I knew I was going to be running boost, I am proud of the finished product but there are alot quicker cars on here than mine.

I would be looking for the other car to be similar (pump gas, street tires). I don't do "lock ins" or "punk out money" I am a man of my word once we set a date I will be there. We can look over each others cars before any amount is set if you want but if someone backs out they have to buy the drinks at the bar later!

Some things are far more important than a race... getting my truck home and my girl to work that day were two examples of more important things.
