SLP pioneered the underhood cold air package for the Camaro and Firebird. They replace the restrictive, power robbing factory air cleaner assembly. By picking up cool, dense outside air and pumping it directly into the engine these systems are proven to make up to 20 additional horsepower, depending on application. Each kit includes custom designed air boxes and ductwork, air filters and all the necessary parts for easy bolt on application. Complete installation instructions are also included. These kits are legal for street use in all 50 states. E.O. #D-187-12. $279.95
mine came flat black. around 5k on the filters. one filter i cut a little of the rubber neck on to sit properly. has a rubber cap for the air pump hook up if you aren't running emissions headers but can remove obviously if you are. i used a couple sheet metal screws in the plastic block off piece because i didn't like how it sat. there are like 3 or 4 flakes of paint missing on the intake, nothing you really see unless you are looking for it. all in all good condition.
