Pillar pod

I have been browsing for a dual gauge pillar pod, but all I can find are T top versions. The hardtop pillar goes all the way back so I would need to alter the T top version to fit. Has anyone come across a pillar pod for hard tops?

I am pretty sure they must exist, I just have yet to find one.

don't they just screw over the existing pillar? like doesn't replace the whole thing?

Most screw over but I saw a couple (for 3rd gens at least) that replace the whole pillar.

Depending on how detailed you want to go.

I have the Autometer pod but didn't like the pins that held it in place. i glued mine in, used bondo to fill in the seam and then bought sandless printer and interior paint from Eastwood that matched and painted it. I think it looks allot cleaner that way.

the dual pod I put in my silverado was supposed to attach to the existing pillar piece. I didnt want to destroy my stock panel so I managed to not use it at all to put the pod one in.

make your own fiberglass pillar gauge pod. all you really need is about a foot long PVC pipe with an ID(internal diameter) that will fit your gauges, a Fiberglass Resin Kit, about a yard of fleece material, a hot glue gun, sandpaper, and a tube of Bondo Spot Putty.
