ok I have a 92 v6 3.1(hoping to turbo one day) connected to a 700r4.
I had the trans rebuilt for 1800:mad: a week a go, it was slipping and falling in and out of gear.
Now the AAMCO tech who did it said i should invest in a 2nd trans cool aside form the one in the Radiator so i can prolong the life of my investment. AAMCO wanted 400+150 labor to add one lol :rofl:
now i did alot of asking and searching now a transmission colder is good to prolong the life of the trans but if the fluid it cooled to much it can do the same damage as being to hot, it takes stress off the radiator form cooling the engine and trans. other benefits vary: smoother shifts, better MPG, bahbah
now i sometimes sit in traffic -.- going to work for 1-2 hours and i push my car hard so would it be a good idea to add a cooler
