we put down numbers at the track though....even nasty with a bolt-on car making his first passes down the track went faster than your head/cam/stalled auto and he is a 6spd....insert :double facepalm::wink:

Nah, brake lines were disconnected. we broke the main lines off the ABS block.... oops..and I shredded the bolt into the strut....

oh hell, even with less mods than him, i went 12.83@ 110mph on my very first pass in my slowmaro. then on 5th pass ever, 12.48@ 112mph on a 1.90 60' all slowmaro passes on 245 50 16 street tires! :insert triple face in palm:

haha loveeee it.. I was reading along thinking the same exact thing myself. Its always a jolly for me, being an owner of both an lt1 and an ls1, to drive the lt1 which has some mods, than jump in the ls1 and realize the difference in power. Gotta love the silly lt1 boys though, entertaining to say the least

an efficient engine that can put a Fbody into the 11s full weight my friend. and for the record, i wasnt following a trend, i bought mine t/a over 4 yrs ago because i wanted something faster and nicer than my 89 rs 305 lol. my second LS1 car i bought because its even nicer than my t/a

nah i stripped the block but left the crank pulley and pan on, tucked the k member back up with the trans still on. need to get the strut bolts in and push it out in the mornin.
