Hey all, Eric from Montvale here, just on the nj/ny border near GSP.
I don't actually own an F-body yet, but i'm in the market for one as my DD. I work in Westwood, so it's not much of a drive, and I fell in love with the black on black trans-ams. If any of you know a decent f-body, manual under like 100k miles, let me know? hah.
Anyway, until I find mine, i'll still be trying to get to the meets and stuff to get to know you clowns, so I wanted to introduce myself early.
Any advice any of you guys have for a beginner, I'd love to hear!

ideally 2000-2002, but 1998-2002 is fine. I love how that model looks, and i'm in love with the lsx engine.

I'd noticed that too, but the price is right, and the year/make... Rough choice. I would think staying under 100k miles would be best, wouldn't you agree?

Welcome, Kreiger. Glad to see you made it over here. I'm also in Bergen County and have an LS1 Black/Black T/A. Personally, I'd pass on that car in the link you provided.

i bought my ss brand new from the dealer in 15 min, sight unseen nor had i driven or ever even been IN a 4th gen when i signed the papers. Car showed up a week later brought in from PA. been a love/hate relationship ever since.
