So my ABS light is on...And when it rains the brake and low trac light flicker on and off.....and when i step on the brake they stay solid. When on solid after stepping on the brake for 3 second they go off till the brake is released. HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS BEFORE????? 1995 camaro lt1

Check the ground post on the passenger side.

try taking it to a shop and have them scan it for codes. sounds like an abs issue though.

I have had an issue with my 95 Z28, the ABS light has been on since I bought the car, did the brakes all around, put a new abs sensor in, reset the computer, still on. Went to the shop and absolutely no codes pop up..now tell me what the hell that could be?

IMO sounds like your calipers are sticking or your master cylinder/ABS block is going.
Take it to a brake shop if you can't do brakes on your own.

njbadss, could be a rubbed wire or the abs computer (EBCM or EBTCM)

can you look at the datastream for the abs?

already had everything looked at last week at the mechanic shop and no sign of the issue..stumped them as well bc no codes come up on the computer and like I said, I put a new abs sensor in,did all new brakes all around, reset the computer..no luck still

NJKID sounds like a wiring problem somewhere in the ABS cicruit

see if your abs is actually working NJBA, possbile cluster problem?, what scan tool did they use. Did they not get a code or did it not communicate. i have had to replace a few block because they were not communicating.

Most times I've seen an ABS sensor come on with one of my vehicles it's been a bad wheel speed sensor. Either the sensor goes bad or crud gets inbetween the sensor and the magnetic ring. If you jack the car up and disconnect the pigtail for the sensor on each wheel you can probe a multimeter into that connector. Then spin the wheel and see if your resistance numbers go up and down smoothly. If they do then the sensor is ok. If it stays in one spot or barely moves then you have a bad sensor.
