ubg was just cruising past the trailer park in Morrisville, Pennsyltucky, and the idea hit him to build a cool White Trash Camero for his next project. It will have all the "wrong" things done to it, like primer finish on a beat up body, fake hood scoop riveted to the hood, jacked up WAAAAAAAAY too high in the azz end w/ air shocks, big azz bald tires sticking out of the wheel wells, mismatched, rusty mag wheels, big, loud azz pipes with exhaust leaks, Confederate flag on the rear window, roach clips hanging from the rear view mirror, etc. But the only thing ubg cannot decide upon is if he should use a late 2nd gen Camero for the project, or a turd gen Camero. ubg is leaning towards the turd gen, and they are REALLY cheap and readily available. Wadda you clowns think?

unfortunatly and 3rd gen would work best.

you can buy most turd gens with the previously mentioned mods

Definitely needs to be a late 2nd gen if you want the rear jacked up, but you should also go with 15x10 wheels with the wrong offset so they stick out about 4-5". Corvette sidepipes should finish it off nicely too. Just make sure everything has rust or primer and you're all set!

I think it would be a really easy project. You could probably do it in a weekend. I'd pick up whatever you can find sooner, both should be readily available. have fun UBG!

I imagine an early third gen. You could probably get one just how you described so that means less modding. If it doesn't smoke overfill the crankcase so it smokes too. Open stock exhaust manifolds would be cool too.

This would actually not be a bad idea if the car was actually fast, and not just a loud 305 carb or tpi or something.

I'll second that......
UBG.....hear me out....
You have the AMX close to finished, but in pursuit of the flying mile idea?? No?
You have the GN up for sale, to expedite the AMX goal? No?
Why throw good money after bad on such a horrible "project" that isn't really a project anyway. You could probably buy one already "done" and even then its a rolling POS.
Stay the course and either finish the AMX or Keep the GN and finish it, but don't sell the GN to build a clapped out camaro!
I think they have you working in the shiney sticker/fuzzy dice/air cleaner isle at the new job and you are experiencing a contact high from the smells/sensory overload.....Step away from all that crap and finish the AMX or GN.....

I can understand the gentlemen who have concerns about this being a waste of cash, but see, ubg is looking to do this on the REAL cheap...nothing but junkyard pieces, and cast off parts from other peeps who are investing real dough in their rides. About the only big buck item ubg would be investing in is some nekkid lady mudflaps...lol

Well, the bottom line is I would drive it, and I always like to have a second car around in case some thing goes wrong w/ my usual daily driver. 'Sides, I want to be able to cruise the trailer park in Pennsyltucky in style!

I mean a second daily driver type car. The AMX is just a "toy"/hobby car.

DUDE you just described my T/A...damn I miss that car.
yo seriously though, 3rd gen with a 4th gen rear, and 3rd gen wheels. I know where there's an IROC that needs some love you could probably pick up in the $500 range

Well, it would be mostly tongue in cheek, and a goof on an already established stereotype. I'd want to make it so over the top that people would be like "can this guy be for real?" Plus, since I admit I'm White Trash, I should have a White Trash mobile, just like Batman had the Batmobile, Knightrider had Kitt, The Green Hornet had Black Beauty, etc.

Well, ubg just looked at an 87 Camero at the trailer park in Morrisville. The guy was only asking 300 bux, and he said it used to be his wife's or sister's car. Actually I think the wife and sister might be the same woman. But it was so beat up it was prolly only worth 3 bux, not 300 bux. But I did give the guy Bubba's phone number, as it seemed to be a likely candidate for Bubba's car collection.

Well, ubg went over to the trailer park to check out the Fireturd today, and it def was a turd! The Hillbilly said he really didn't want to sell it, but if he did he wanted a thousand bux. Now WTF is that supposed to mean? Anywho, it was prolly only worth 100 bux. So, ubg gave him Bubba's number just to be par for the course.

not too long ago in Atlantic City we pulled 4 cars out of a popular place to illegally park (well get like 4 an hour there) so we had 4 trucks rolling down Atlantic ave with light going and all. Now the one guys last name is Duer (do-er) and the other guy broke his arm on a scooter so he's scooter and i'm bubba.......duer, scooter, and bubba. I definitely had them on the nextel doing our own car snatching version of this. btw the 4th truck is a private owned contractor, he doesn't have group connect
