heyyy guys.
got the pup when she was a few weeks old. had her for a few months but my patience is thin. Hard to juggle a puppy and a baby...the dog was getting too big for our little one bedroom apartment w/ no back yard, the expense was extra and not needed...it was just too much. so my hub got a friend of his to take her... and now possibly can't keep her... they called and asked if we'd take her back....

i'm only taking her til we find her another home..
we dont have her back yet but if we do end up needing to find her a new home is n e one here willing to help?

her name is Nollie. shes just over a year. shes fixed. shes a real lover. great with kids cats and other dogs...all up on her shots. pics arnt recent but shes about 35 lbs last i heard...

yea shes a doll. we weren;t ready for her or the extra responsiblity so it didnt really bother me. i know it sounds cold but i was glad to have one less thing to worry about. my hub on the other hand is attached still and we haven;t had her in over 6 months...
giving me even more a reason to have her a new home before she comes back here...

Staffordshire Terrier isn't a pitbull mix, it's a seperate breed. Wish I could take her but my mom already drives me nuts about the dog I have now

Is the dog house trained? I'm checking with some people here at work.

she is potty trained.. we have only had her for a day so far and she hasnt gone in the house or chewed anything yet.. but we havent left her alone either... she tells u when she wants to go out... she just walked up to the door and hit her nose against it about 20 mins ago.. and she is very good with dogs, kids, cats andpeople... she was with 2 other dogs 1 rotty and one british bull dog and like 10 cats i believe.. and she is with our 19 month old daughter...

i think she looks bigger in person but she was 40lbs when we took her to petsmart yesterday. she is very playful and needs lots of room to roam...we hope to see her go somewhere with a yard. and possibly another dog...

It would be interesting to see how she would interact with our dog. Our dog came from a rescue and is still afraid of most people but we keep thinking another dog might help her out. We have a nice fenced in yard too. If you guys don't get serious interest by someone else then maybe we can get them together and see how they do.

I have been wanting another dog. Mine is only about 50 lbs and where I am has a nice size yard that my dog likes to run in.
How much does she eat?
I am in Hamilton too, near the AMC

she is 39 lbs.. she gets about 2 cups of food 3 times a day breakfast lunch and dinner.. sometimes she wont eat it all... depends on her mood but she drinks water like its going out of style...

I thought my dog ate a lot at almost 4 cups a day, 2 in the morning and 1 3/4 at night but she is about 5 now and I had her eating 6+ a day when I first got her since she was really under weight.
I have been told NOT to get another dog but I would like another so my dog has "someone" to play with. Maybe we can get them together at the park one night? See how they get along...?

HaHa, my scared dog is lucky if she eats 2 cups of food a day. I don't know how she weighs 50 lbs, but it's all muscle so she car run away from us at top speed!

oh wow, I totally missed the up to date pics of the dog. She's beautiful! would there be a way for me to come see the dog in person? I have been looking for a dog on and off for a while, but I finally have a place with a yard now.

i know what you mean. my boy loves playing with other dogs but he rarely gets the opportunity. i feel almost like i am mistreating him by not getting another dog.

my buddy (he actually responds with affection when i call him "buddy"):

these are his sometime playmates:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a117/jims69camaro/the%20dogs/063-1.jpg

as you can see, he dwarfs them. he would be much happier with another dog his size, but alas, the wife won't allow it. to the point where i would have to find another home for me and the dogs if i were to bring another one home.

Jim, if your guy likes water (seeing his breed I can imagine he does) I have been taking Tonka to the lakes around here. He enjoys going up to his chest in the water and chasing the minnows but let me know if you want to go sometime. He is ALWAYS up for playing with other dogs. My buddy Justin (crazyblazer87) has been bringing his German Shepherd with us and they will go for HOURS. I just found another spot that would be perfect to take the dogs, dont have to worry about cars, or really even other people for that matter.
