Dodge Challenger Harley Davidson Edition?

So i was riding back from camping in upstate ny yesterday with some friends and we saw a dodge challenger but it had harley davidson special edition badges on it. it doesn't make sense to me, anyone hear of these?

Yes they were mentioned in a few magazines months ago. It's similar to the Eddie Bauer edition Explorers, and the Land Cruiser special edition (escapes me atm). It's just marketing and a reason to jack the price up a tad.

for some reason i thought only ford's had harley davidson editions

Its following up on a long line of truck like vehicles with HD equipment packages.
HD and Challengers are very similar.
Very flashy, look good, but heavy and big.
Make a lot of noise, dont go very fast compared to its competition, and cost a lot compared to its competition.

the old harley F150 with the blowers were sooooo sweet, the new ones suck

Very interesting range of Harley Edition vehicles.

There were a handful of HD edition 96/97 TransAm's issued from SO.Cal dealers, the range of F-150 HD trucks, and now Challengers...

I'm not into bikes, but an HD T/A, F-150, and Challenger would be cool to see together.

now thats a harley edition... complete with blower paint interior wheels and everything, not jsut some stupid decals

yeah... the challenger only had stupid little decals that we barely noticed
