Driving back from work I saw a sign for maaco and thought let me just stop and get a quote for my v6 DD. Nothing special just a fresh paint job. Talked the guy into the supreme paint job and best primer/prep job they have all for $600 bucks. They wanted to charge me $1500:evil: though for body work since they want to strip the car down to metal and its "really hard to sand those plastic fenders" lol So my dad my bro and me are gonna do the body work on it and have them paint it. 8-)

I did a mustang years ago through Macco. Prepped the car, sanded, and primed. Got a decent result out of it. Kept it for 2 years without issues then flipped it for more $$.

When is it hard to sand fenders? and Doubt they will strip it for that low of a price.... Supplies would be around 800 for stripping and sanding material.

why would you want to strip it to bare metal anyway... its a DD that you want freshened up... not a frame off resto... haha... when i do my car... ill be damned if im going to strip it... as long as it snot peeling or checking there is no need to strip it down... just sand it and paint it... body work and sand what ever scratches and paint... paint stripper is nasty stuff... i cant stand it.... i just did a ws6 hood for a guy a couple weeks ago... what a pain it is to strip it... but it was a peeler so it had to be stripped...
