View Full Version : Well this is a new way to get FWD cars to hook up at the track

Stumbled upon this in my recent Road & Track mag. Its apparently setting FWD records in Time Attack but damn it looks ridiculous.

Why couldn't they use a sprint car style front wing? it looks rediculous all the way up there

Wow, I bet its great for hauling plywood.

There has to be a better looking way of providing downforce on the front end. While that front wing may be effective, it looks terrible.

you do need downforce on the rear in order to make turns you know

Full width wing at the height of a sprint car's would mean even worse forward vision, and very little air on it if you were in traffic.
