keeping 2 third gens, one is my wifes 91 z-28 convertible other is my 89 formula 350 convertible,

going to pick up a monte carlo ss so i can have a daily driver since i dont want to daily drive either f-body,

every part, every car 89 iroc 305 tpi stick, 92 formula 305 tpi 6-speed, and the 91 trans am[ parts car only] are going, as well as the v-6 91 rs camaro,

my truck is gone [ blue silverado ss] my 2 91 trans am converts are gone, both 91 camaro converts are gone, my black 87 ta is gone, more to come, may be at the swap meet only if the docter allows me to be,

this latest car accident witch is now a year ago has really messed up my life, and i may even loose my job because of it.

Sorry to hear man hope everything works out and the surgery goes well. Good luck with selling everything. I dont blame you for doing it, Id be doing the same if i was in your shoes. Sucks that an accident has caused you so many problems but hopefully after the surgery you can recover and things will get better.

wow. bad news, man. hope things work out for you. i don't think they can fire you because you are injured, but i am not positive on that one. better to get an attorney to represent you both in workers compensation court and small claims (if your job decides to cut you loose, that may be your only recourse) - but better to talk things over with a lawyer before you get caught up in all of the gloom and doom.

best of luck.

That sucks. If you want, I can give you the name of our lawyer. Not sure he'll help with the work situation, but in case you wanted to sue for the accident, I think you have plenty of grounds for it. And I'm not one to necessarily sue just because of an accident, but when it has this much of a profound effect on you, even a year later, I think it is necessary (for lack of a better word).

Hmm. James' second accident was on his way to work in the morning, and it's been held as workers comp. Only difference is that he was in a company vehicle (our lease, but we use their insurance), and they are covering everything.

I don't know what the laws state, but is there a chance that since you were on your way to work when it happened, they cannot fire you because of the accident? I"m really not sure how it works, and I'm sure your lawyer has been involved to figure it out at least.

Good luck!

all ready 40k in the hole from the last surgery,so i figure i will be out at least 70k before this crap is done with, looks like i will be like everyone elso, bankcrupt, between the house morgages, trailer and wifes truck payment, not including the credit cards i am in some deep dookie, and the best part i lost my healthcare, $1000 a month just to cover the family, going to cost me $300 for medication after the surgery on friday, not sure where thats comming form,
well rock bottom should be here soon so i can try to start digging my way out. if not then i dont know what i am going ot due.

if not then i dont know what i am going to do.

isn't the insurance company supposed to pick up all of your medical expenses? i know if you win the suit you get reimbursed for all of your outlay. but it just seems like they are doing things the hard way by not paying up front for your medically necessary items/surgeries.

Do you not have uninsured motorist coverage as part of your car insurance? Should that cover you for at least part of your expenses, or is that just to repair your car?

uninsured motorist is only cover up to 75% or how they see fit, disibility only pays a max of 14k i pay between $5500 an $7500 depending on the month in out going payments, i have been out of work since march, with the first surgery, i was out closw to $40k, now having second surgery is not going to be as much but still. no heath insurance means all percription are payed in full, or i srtuggle with the pain and eat asprin, cant afford the perks, $110 for pills, would rather suffer and keep the money to get the healthcare for the family at $1000 a month untill i can go back to work and reinroll,
i an just in a bad spot and bt selling off almost everything, dont want to sell 2 cars but if i must i will,
