was on my way home from work. when i saw a accident on marshall mill rd. in franklin twp. it involved a ford explorer. that looked like it was flipped and side swiped. no emergency vehicles were on scene yet. as i moved through the scene. i saw dirt all over the road. the a green firebird/formula. with a guy hanging out the window dead. everything from the sail panels back were gone. the guy was just slouched over out the window with blood everywhere. he died. as my buddy went through about 5 min after me. and said they blue tarped the car. does anyone know who this was. i f***ED up from the scene. this happened all well before the rain. looks like the guy punched it and spun into the suv.

I totally know the feeling of seeing a devastating accident like this. Last summer, actually, last August, I saw a dude that was acting kind of nutty on his motorcycle try to punch it through a red light that was about to turn green. He slammed into the back door/ quarter panel of a PT cruiser that was making a left. His bike broke into a million pieces right in front of the car I was in. It was at the intersection of fellowship and church road in Mount Laurel. Just seeing that haunted me for like the next month. It turned out that the guy on the bike was the brother of somebody my fiancee knew when we discovered a news article on it, which made it even worse.
Just pray for the guy that was involved in the accident and know that he is a in a better place now.

hey man i know how stuff like that haunts u.a friend of mine went drunk driving. i wasnt there and i will never forgive the people who let him leave. but seeing the pictures of the car after wards was pretty bad. important thing is to learn from it so we dont make the same mistakes

Another lessoned learn SEATBELTS!!!! If he was hanging out the window means he was unbuckled which is why he probably died. And 2nd if he had been wearing his seatbelt he probably would have kept better control of the vehicle when he lost control of it. Might have even pulled out of it. If your flopping around inside the car you cant really hang on the steering wheel and get control. Is just so sad that a life is lost. Its just horrible!!!

yea man agree 100% friend of mine was drinking in driving and ended up jumping off the Ben Franklin.... His car still sits in his driveway with the damage where he hit the median. Haunts me to this day.

When I was a kid my dad was a tow truck driver. While all the other 10 year olds were out playing ball, I was out on the major highways picking up rolled over cars and stuff. I've seen some pretty crazy stuff, its really depressing...

His seat belt could of broke. When my ex got in an accident with his red firebird he hit the pole and wrapped around it and his seat belt broke... Tho from it braking saved his life he would of been stuck and crushed by a pole if that seat belt held him there!!
Also I seen similar things. except the woman was slouched over the steering wheel... I got out of my truck and went over to help but i couldn't even stand the sight of something like that...

It must have been a very sick sight to see, but if you read the article, it says his car veered off to the right around a corner. I am just assuming that speed was also a factor and ANY dampness on the road also makes these cars twitchy. Some of the things we see are not meant for eyes, but then our guys in the service must see things like this (and worse) everyday, and it comes back to haunt them. There was a site where this 17 year old girl had a fight with here father and took out his prized Porsche, when he was not home, and was going over 100 mph when she side swiped another car and crashed in a concrete pillar. The pictures that a state trooper took of the accident got onto the internet and were beyond description. The car flipped over and the removable top was pushed back and when it did, it took OFF the girls entire face. The picture of her hanging out of the window still bothers me today. The family was trying to get them off the internet, so I can only imagine what at it must have been for the parents, because the funeral people would not allow the family to view the body, it was that bad. Long story, but I know that seeing something like what was posted can really mess up your mind for quite awhile. :|

the bend where the accident happened at is very bad..always a lot of accident there. the lady that was in the suv was a friend of one of my friends. there was a lot of frame damage to her suvbut since it was new-ish they fixed it vs totalling..which is crazy if u saw the condition of her suv. shes lucky to be alive herself.

That bend is from hell... The one with the stop sign??? I almost ran that thursday night on my way to mikes house!!! Thank god I replaced the calipers I probably would of been off the road dead... that was a close call... ****ing thing caught me off gaurd..
Yeah Von thats the one the article calls out Marshall Mill rd, the one with the huge pot hole that effed up your rim and my tire lol the one just after the pot hole not the one at stop sign. I Used to drive that road every day on my way to school that is a very dangerous bend people just cut into the opposite lane so they dont have to slow down, and Ive even seen people pass other cars in theat bend...and its a blind curve you can see alittle in the winter a very little but in the summer forget about it you cant see ish around that corner. BE Caerful when you drive around that corener poeple drive like a-holes around there for some reason. I even say cars stopped on the curve last time I was out there because they smashed into that pot hole (it was more of a ditch lol was likr 2ftx2ftx2ft deep) had they not had there lights on I would have hit them.
