Got a "talking to" by one of the managers for my T/A being started up in the early am by the office(didn't know someone actually lived in there). It's hard having 3 cars parked together. Just got home at 1 am and had to park in the other lane of spots away from my cars UGH. I just feel really bad for the people living here when I start up/drive the T/A home at night. Kind like walking on egg shells. :( And ofcourse not having a garage BLOWS. The vette is flying on jackstands prepping to change the cranks sensor in the am.......and I have long tubes on the car so a major PITA.

Went and saw inglorious basterds tonight and got home after 1 am. Ugh, I really want to change the exhaust and add high flow cats, and a catback after tonight to quiet the car down:-?

rent a garage. use a quiet car to get to the garage, which will be in the sticks so no one can hear it when you start/stop the loud cars.

or, just grin and bear it.

I can relate when I lived in my apt. My garage actually was below an apt so I tried my best to get it in and out without much throttle the best I could. Never got a complaint but doesn't mean it couldn't happen. I say get a garage or grin and bear it as mentioned.

True. I get alot of head shakes leaving. I think the end of next year I'll be saving up for a house.

Do what I do, I rent a house in AC. the owner used to be in and out on his Harley all hours of the night be for I got it, so the neighbors are broken in.

To be fair, it's pretty god damn annoying when people make noise early in the morning. I was woken up sometime before 8am because someone decided to cut grass at the ass crack of dawn..

I got the same problem. I leave around 6 every morning for work. No complaints yet in 3 years but it will happen eventually Im sure. You can hear the exhaust echo off the other buildings.

Nah, I graduated in may so I don't have to deal with State College construction noise any more, just gotta deal with unemployment  It was one of the neighbors who, for one reason or another, decided to cut grass sometime before 8...

When I lived on campus construction started at 8am, promptly, almost every day... I hated those construction people. They were right outside my uninsulated window too.

Yea I hate when ******** drive down my street and park in my driveway with their loud ass cars. Friggen ********.

:)

I cringe when I leave at night or leave early in the morning... LOL ah well, not home all the time, so the neighbors can suck it.

This was a few years ago. Just ignore the dyno numbers. That was with an unlocked torque convertor.

if they bitch at you or shake their heads, just point to your airforce sticker on the windshield.

tough luck unless they have a sound ordinance in place about cars then they can't do anything about it. It's not your fault they live there.

Been there done that rob. I usually leave for work at 430am. TUrning on my old Formula i felt so bad. Try to find a SLP dual dual exhaust. Sounds good and quiets things down ALOT even with a ORY
