I took the AMX over to the Hillsborough 7-11 to get a Slurpee today, and as I was pulling up a guy who was coming out of 7-11 stopped to check it out. As I got out of the AMX the guy remarked "Man, this car is BAD AZZ! It sounds just like the beginning of the Van Halen song HOT FOR TEACHER!"

DEF a cool comment! 8-)

Once when I took my 73 Camaro out I stopped at Wawa to get some stuff for the day and the guy in the car next to me asked if it was a malibu :shurg:

True, dat on the sammiches. Was it a red AMX by any chance? A few peeps told me of a red one at E-townage today.

i pulled into a 7-11 today in my 03 imapala LS and as i was getting out, this 80ish year old guy was getting into the same year/color car. he says "nice car sonny" i said thanks. then i laughed to myself and thought maybe it's time to trade my car in. :rofl:

and yep UBG a way better compiment then the one i got. :rock:

the AMX is one of my favorite cars of all time :( i had a lot of older guys talk to me when i had the LT1. Ask me if it was a 305 or not. haha. ask me if i raced it, etc. It is def cool to have something that people appreciate
