I'm planning to go to the car show at Bergenfield HS this Sunday - it's easier for me, and my 10-bolt is puking gear oil faster than I can re-fill it so I can't drive too far. :)

why?

It's leaking out the pinion seal, but I think it's because the yoke is worn. It's only got 200K miles on it :) , the last 15K of which have been rather rough. That's when we swapped in the T5, and I really don't baby the car when I drive it. So, I picked up a sleeve and a new pinion seal, and am hoping to install them either tomorrow or Sunday AM if Mother Nature cooperates. I just want it to hold me over for a few months until I can get it properly repaired (most likely needs a new yoke, crush sleeve, and pinion bearing).

I was at the show today and took home a 1st place trophy in the 1990-2009 class. It was a really good quality show with lots of door prizes and music and mostly every car was well detailed. It was finally good to see that they had 2 judges for every car and did a decent job of looking over the cars. There were about 160 cars on the lot with a good mix of Corvettes and Muscle cars, plus NO RICER CARS!

I definitely saw a LOT of great muscle cars all throughout Ridgewood this afternoon--including a Cyber Gray C6Z06 (might have been a ZR1, didn't get a good look) and an Orange Chevelle with no hood.
Might have been from the show?

did the chevelle happen to have a blower on it? if so it might have been a guy from my town and he probably would have gone to that show. he's got a blown 396 in there, i think he is trying to have a hood made to fit lol
