i was on the TPK on exit 14a and saw this!!

any idea what kind of truck it was.. if it was a ford tack another one on to their list...

i really wasn't sure it was pretty burnt up but from the looks of the shell i think it was a Ford!

probably... i dont know why but they had a few years that were prone to fires.... iv seen about4 or 5 in person... and countless other reports like this of them....

There were a ton of Ford trucks and SUVs that were recalled a few years ago for random fires. I believe it was a membrane in the ABS that would rupture and allow hot brake fluid onto hot electronics.

they also had a recall around late 90's early 2000 for the cruise control to start fires. my mom has the van and had to bring it in for recall.
