I assume with the dealer installed 22's, that this is more of a promotional car, then an actual high speed pursuit vehicle.

The Camaro5 thread says it's a loaner (most likely from Kerbeck) for the Toys for Tots run.

these are the real deal and on the prowl for speeders. They have these, and even unmarked ones officially on the streets. I can imagine some wise guy seeing an unmarked and wanting to race it until it turns its lights on and tickets you

And his post is a lie.....that car isn't patrolling the roads, it was a loaner for the Toys For Tots run only. (Not saying that there aren't any undercover 5th gens out there)

Definitely not a lie. Actually got this information and the picture from a friend of mine which happens to be a cop. I even asked him if he was absolutely for sure and he said thats why he let me know so none of my car buddies, or myself, tried playing with a 5th gen on the streets and it wound up being a cop.

The car in that pic (2SS / RS, upgraded wheels, etc) is a car that was loaned to NJSP by Kerbeck for the Kerbeck-sponsored Toys for Tots run this past Saturday. Notice the lack of front plate - it sported a dealer plate for the event.
I'm not saying that the NJSP or any other police department doesn't have any 5th gens in their arsenal, but this particular car isn't one of them.

bingo...I was at kerbeck earlier today taking a look at it. the ACPD vet was also a kerbeck car. BUT from what i was told NJSP and ACPD paid for the cars to be badged and a pretty hefty usage fee.

very cool looking car. nice of that company to donate those vehicles for the toys-4-tots event. one day i'd like to see those on the road as real police cars, but they would get underbid by the ford vics, chargers, and the (possible) 2012 chevy caprice... ive heard chevy might be bringing the caprice backout as a police vehicle platform. maybe just a rumor tho
