I had a spinal tap done this afternoon. This was my first one. Doctors told me to lay down as much as i could today. I have escoliosis and it hurts to lay down for a long time. After 6 hours of being on my back i sat up for a little and i feel a tiny headach coming on. They say the headach is very brutle. Has anyone gotten a spinal tap and headach? If so, how bad is it? Thanks.

Ouch. That's a tough procedure. I thought you were going to talk about the movie... crank it up to 11 and so on.
I hope the pain subsides soon for you. Not good.

While I have not had a spinal tap, I can sympathise
December I had a spinal fusion
A couple weeks ago I had an epidural into my upper spine (C3 to C5 area).
Last week I had a discogram - they inserted 3 needles into the discs in my spine (c3 to c4, c4 to c5, and c5 to c6) - that was horrific with pain
In a couple weeks I'm going in for surgery for more spinal fusions.
I have major sympathy for anyone with back/ neck pain
I wish you the best
