I'm sure most wont care! but I thought I'd share my excitement. A month ago my wife and I went to our buddy over at the Chevy dealer to price out a new Camaro. I didnt think we had a chance to get the payments where we wanted them but our salesman came through for us again. So we put our order in for an Aqua Blue Metallic 1LT. I called today and found out the order was pulled by GM and I should see it in 2-3 weeks. Just in time to show it off for the Holiday's!

V8 = more money, and they were shooting for an affordable payment. If I was in the market for a new car I would be looking at a 1LT as well.

OMP already what 30k in the whole for the car I'd drop the extra 8k for a ss just my 2 cents.

That is one of the best colors IMO good luck with the car.

1LT starts at 23,880
1SS starts at 30,745

That will add roughly $120 to each monthly payment over 5 years.

And besides, the OP already has a 10 second car.

he should really look into a ls1 since they are faster than the new camaro and cheaper and give you happy endings and plant trees and save pandas and stop robbers and smell pretty.

Definitely at least 4 have, them 3 and me. Seriously what does your opinion matter in this thread... he's getting what he's getting, it's his car, and good for him. That color is awesome and im envious cuz he's getting a '10. No need to knock him... especially when the 3.6 LLT's are a hell of a respectable engine

Im not him, glad he has a nice new car...funny how someone posted the same thing before me but I catch the sheet 4 it....I wouldnt but a v6 camaro, thats just me...i wish him nothing but the best of luck w/ it.

Thats the problem, I think people need to realize that within the next year, both the Camaro and Mustang V6 will have enough power to match or beat LS1 cars, stock for stock.

Really, I think people need to be open minded.

My first impression when I drove my dad's 08 CTS with 3.6 DI was right away how nice that engine would be in pony car setup. For a V6 it pulls hard. Once they start increasing the output, I don't think having a V6 will be such a bad thing to enthusiasts looking for a bargain muscle car.

Wow, a lot has gone on since I last checked this!

First off, Thank guys.

And just to clarify the whole V6 purchase:

It is my wifes car.
Gas mileage
Payments
It has plenty of power but not too much that will get me in trouble when I drive it!
And as Nick has already stated, I only need one fast car.

I usually do the wrong thing and go crazy with a car that is out of my budget. It is a new Camaro, that alone is enough for me. I will be able to drive it and enjoy the V6, if I got the V8 it might be more fun but I couldnt enjoy it knowing I have a payment I cant handle.

I hope that helps.

Dunno why, just gettign rid of it. Cars like this have colors that are only a year long color.

Nah, GM does this all the time witha lot of cars.
GTO had several different colors that changed out every year
So does Corvette. The colors add to the rarity of the car I guess?
Statisticly...silver is the color of choice for all cars, followed by black.
I assume that since Impala is getting cut down, and that at least two more cars are moving to Oshawa, that they are going to add different colors.
We might see like a Jetstream Blue, or soemthing else. Maybe a LeMans Blue?
