depending on the brand, they are different resistance per foot. ie msd's vs stock

What engine? LS1's have equal length wires so they should all be the same range. Older style Chevy V8's have uneven lengths so they will be different. Stock replacement vs aftermarket will make a big difference also.

as previous statements , ls1 equal lenghts so are the same. so test yours vrs. the new ones.
if you have sbc or v6 than you can test each idividual one vrs. stock ones to see if you have less resistance w/ the new ones.

and..... as sweetbmx'r stated all wires have differnt resistance, depends on the type of wire, core material, lenght , etc...

in a nutshell, your wasting your time w/ resistance values, just put a set of nice taylors or msd's on it and call it a day.

i replaced them because i pulled the boot and wire inside off the ends of a couple of them by accedent and i was wondering if the wire inside of them was broken

if the wire was physically broken, it wouldn't show resistance

Are you running OTVC wires or stock routing?

i said i replaced them in post #3 and 8:nod:

Heh. Reading FTW.

Anyway, to answer your question, stockers should be 10000 - 15000 Ohms per foot.
