need some opinions on this truck

hey guys well ive been looking for a dd since i sold my bronco. i came across this s10 that i like. i checked it out real quick last thursday but it was raining and i didnt feel like laying on the wet dirt. i only noticed a small ding in the rear quarter along the wheel well. and the corner of the bed by the tail gate had a quarter size dent. other than that it looked good. just wanted to get some opinions from you guys since i dont know much about the s10s. all i know is i like the look of them lol. and i know the 4.3 is a pretty good motor.

im going to be going back tomorrow morning to test drive and look it over real well since its suppose to be nice from what ive heard lol.

Truck looks clean...you looking to spend that much on a DD? My father bought a 04 Colorado (same size, low mileage) for not much more.....

Tool box, remnants of ladder racks in the picture 10?, bumper hitch.....check that tranny good. Steering wheel looks kinda worn compared to the rest of the interior. Other than that, looks pretty clean. Is that the going price for an S10?

most are priced low or high. and people still want a crap load for the highmile ones.

yea i noticed the rack in the back. when i checked it out in person last thursday it was raining so i only stopped for a few mins. it looked decent. as long as its nice tomorrow im going to go back and look the truck over real good at take it for a test drive to see how it runs.

Seems like a decent truck but it's way overpriced. Worth more in the 5k range. If you can't get much lower than asking price I'd walk away and look for something else. Are rangers totally out of the question? They're a little over priced today too

everyone and there mom thinks they can get so much for anything. ive seen someone selling i think an 88 gmc s15 with 180k for 3500 lol. thats about the going rate for that milage s10

Yeah I dont know what happened to the small truck market, now everybody thinks they're gold. The price difference between the trucks and the blazers is pretty big, which is odd considering all the blazers typically have more features and don't really do an "work." But that doesnt help you much since you want a pickup lol

My sister has a 00, ZR1, 4wd same motor, she paid the same for it with the same miles about 3 years ago. They run well, only complaint I have is personally its too small of a truck, and the seat levers like to break. Now it has 120k on it, its starting to rot out on the bottom of the doors, but she treats it like crap...

does she take it out in the woods? im trying to stick to a 2wd s10 or sonoma so i stay out of trouble. just want something that ill keep stock for the most part(besides wheels and little things)

looked at the truck today. thing runs pretty well. has a little more cosmetic issues than i though. i told the salesman what i though of it and he said he would have to wait for his manager to return to see about price. so now im just waiting to hear back on my offer of 5500. they seemed like they would be flexable on the price because he asked me if i would be willing to do 6. when the have it on the lot for 8 and internet for 7 lol
