i have alldata at work, i couldn't find the specs i was looking for... im looking for the specs to bolt the bell housing to the engine and then the trans to the bellhousing on a M6 LT1 car... i got 26 ft/lb for trans to bell housing... but what is the spec for the bell housing to engine... if anybody has this info and can share it i would greatly appreciate it... no guesses though please, please only respond if you have the correct specs.... thanks!

yes they are. i have built/r&r'd enough of them.+ i have a cheat sheet for all the torque specs for t56 a4 ls lt etc...
usually fine with a couple blips of a 3/8 impact gun.
but torqing them is the proper way.

well first clutch i put in this car i pulled the bellhousing out to find it missing an ear off of it... no bolt or anything in it... so i bought a new bellhousing (somthing like $300 my cost working at a chevy dealer) so needless to say i want to make sure i dont crack this one haha.... i have one miss matched bolt in there.. but it works... thanks again!

i got tons of gm bolts, probly have the one you need. email me pic of bolt and length. i'll might be in the brick/pt.pleasant area tomorow

Its more likely to crack if its not on the dowels correctly before you tighten the bolts, then a few short hits with the impact.

yea rather play it safe than sorry... again i don't know why the ear was missing so i cant make that call... but iv had bad luck with "cast" parts breaking in the past and just want to do it the right way...
