Anyone use a msd two step to launch with. I've tried using it it a couple times with no success. I have it set to 3000 rpm's and it does its popping thing but after I release the monetary button the car hesitates before getting up to speed. It seems like it's loading the cylinders with too much fuel. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you could be bogging the motor. Auto or Stick? Did you trying adding more launch RPM?

It's an auto. 3000 rpm's is my max stall.

do you have a transbrake also or just the 2 step?

Sounds like your convertor is too tight....

Any chance you have a video? Sounds like its bogging but its hard to tell without a video.

Most likely...he probably needs a looser convertor....

This is an old posting. I've solved my launching problems by upgrading my brakes now I can hold boost with no problem. I don't even need the 2 step.

I got the same question, only mines a manual. I'll be running the LTCC 2 step, but I'm not sure how I launch with it, also should it be hooked up to my clutch pedal so as soon as I release the clutch the 2 step deactivates or should it be hooked to a switch that I shut off after I launch and have traction.

clutch would be the correct way to do it
