Today was an AWESOME car day for me, and of course I have no picts to show for it...
Anywho, I was working at Da Bone, and I had the AMX there with me. So, it was the usual "one man car show" for most of the day. lol But then one of my customers who has a red Viper came over, and he parked right next to the AMX. This alone was giving me a woodpile, because I love Vipers, and of course I'm very proud of my AMX. :mrgreen: But what happened a bit later sent me over the edge...a purple Lambo Diablo came into the lot!!!!! Now, I've seen a couple of Lambos on the road over the years, but nothing up in this neck of the woods! Turned out the guy was from Princeton, he was out enjoying the fall foilage, and when he came by the store he saw the Viper, so he pulled in.
The guy was REALLY cool, too. He let me sit in the car, and let me go all ga-ga over the engine. He even offered to take me for a ride, but we were busy and I was on the clock for a few more hours. He also gave me props on the AMX, and told me he wants to run me some time. :mrgreen: And it was really wild to see the eye balls of the customers poppin' when they saw what was parking in the lot. I just wish my AMX was a chic magnet like the Viper and Diablo are! :nod:
