Bonding metal to metal? The antenna on my Cobalt snapped off the metal bracket that holds it underneath the fender.

Any way you can fix it other than with glue?

I'm sure it could be welded onto the bracket, but I'm not really experienced with that.

Q-bond is the s***. comes with a powder harder/reinforcer. you could probably fill a hole in a engine block with it, its that good

JB weld, or some sort of epoxy. they make all kinds, including one made for metal to metal. the plastic one works wonders, ive fixed so many things on my cars using it. fixed my mirror once, then it got broken off again...the epoxy held, the mirror broke in a different spot

Sounds like JB Weld is the way to go. I'll give it a try and see how it holds.

mighty putty

which has many other names, but it still does work really well. I have some kind og 2pc putty that i've used to fix various things at work and other places, it does work

i made a threaded hex nut out of the stuff for a fixture a while ago, worked wonders, its still there.
