I actually thought the Eagles were going to get smoked, they haven't been playing good football in the last few weeks.
To the all Giants fan who think they're a "great" team...fat chance...still a good team but far from great...they looked silly today...actually for the last 3 weeks.

To get smoked? I agree. Howard pulls out of his slump and has a monster game. CC on 3 days rest turns out to be a mistake.
You heard it here first. :moon::mrgreen:

Honestly, Yankees close it out, even with Lee pitching.

If the Phillies do win tonight I think it goes to a Game 7.

i hope the yankee's don't win tonight for the pure fact that philly will be in dire pandemonium. Riots will break out, it would be better if they yanks won it on their turf for safety reasons.

doubtful... more damage would be done if the phils won

Basketball? Really? You watch the last 2 minutes of each game and get your fill...then listen to them talk after the game for a good laugh.

I know you're not hating on us. I just don't understand basketball. I played as a kid...but I can't stomach watching an NBA game. The Sixers would make the finals and sweep the Lakers and I'd show zero interest. I can watch some college ball for a bit. The NBA is just a bunch of guy running around.

Maybe next summer NJFBOA members should all go to a park and play some BaseBall That would be cool.

i like baseball cause there all tons of little things that come into play during the game that the avg observer (like you) fails to recognize. football trumps every sport for me but i'll always come back to baseball.
its a blast to play too. njfboa softball game? heheh gen 1 vs gen 3...the optispark kids dont play sports anyway

lol mine are too, but we can all learn a page from Matt Stairs. haha just because you cant play anymore doesnt mean you cant go up and hit a HR (or strikeout)

but first you have to be able to hold the bat. sorry, tony, you know i feel for ya. and then (just to not leave myself out) you have to be able to swing said bat. yeah, we can get someone to run the bases for us, but without a single chance to get a hit (or strikeout) there's zero chance you'd get me to even watch a baseball game. or basketball. watching paint dry is more fun - especially if i applied the paint. don't get me started on hockey.
football has become semi-interesting to me in the past few years because of the fantasy leagues. it allows one to manage a team (or mangle it) and it gives one a reason to watch. they were all overpaid primadonas before fantasy leagues lent some interest to it, for me.
but i don't hate on people for watching. i will even sit down and watch a game (of your choice) at your house. don't come to my house and expect a game to be on, unless it's football, though. and don't ask me to change the channel.
