I think he means the Aussie company, bought or run by Syndey Speed.
I heard that Procomp had a bad rep and has recently gotten better. I've never ran anything by them though.

their cylinder heads are cheap, and are cheap for a reason...they take machining and deburring to clean up well enough to actually put on a motor and end up costing more than a quality set of AFR/similar heads
i havent heard anything good about them really

For that price give or take a bit, why not get a set of Scat H rods? or I rods, I dunno your piston choice...

Just what I was thinking, Matt. Only $90 more and you get ARP fasteners.

Ya, only downside is that they will be heavy pigs, and prob overkill for him, I think.
I would at Scat's I rods. Lighter and easier to get your 355(?) going.

here's a kicker.........
i ordered scat h beams for my ls1 a year or so ago and guess what
............................ they came packaged in a procomp motorsports box.
that tells me that scat was or still is getting them from procomp or they are the same company just divided now

Does not mean they are made to the same spec, or even with the same tooling or machinery.
