yeah the line was nuts here too...wrapped around the corner of the marketplace. few hundred people at the very least. still got my copy though...took about 40 minutes in line though.

the games pretty fun though. havent played online yet

Of course there had to be a-holes that know everycamping spot because they got the game early ( the one kid in the game said I havent gotten a chance to play atthis one yet so it's new to me) butthe game is fun, and I wanna see that ****ing nuke!!

Well what a waste of $60, this game is getting Ebay'ed tonight. Apparently you're forced to install this Steam program...well it also installs the game through this junk 3rd party program. 2hrs to install one disk, no thanks. It takes this rig 10 minutes to install most games and this stupid Steam program is crippling this PC while it's trying to install this game. Apparently a lot of people are having this issue. It took me over a minute to type this post because the PC keeps locking up.

I guess I should have done my homework before buying the game.

waiting till i get out of work at 9:00 to play my copy, ithink i am going to clear to campaign before i get online, this is the first COD I have played on anything besides PC only reason i got this copy is because so many people i know are getting it on 360.
I might have to buy a keyboard/mouse adapter for the 360 to play online..

I just dont like all the badges and random **** they have makes it a little to messy if you understand what i am tryingto say

The line was well worth waiting haha, i played till my eyes started bleeding, didnt even attempt the campaign yet.

the use of the ac130 as an airstrike is sick to.

A little diasppointed with the PC version, as it doesn't have dedicated servers (yet). This is InfinityWard's attempt at making the PC version the same as the console version. Other than that, singleplayer rocks.

There will be no dedicated serves coming from Infinity Ward, period. They're using the economy as an excuse. I played MP last night, the guy must have had a good PC because it was just find. No dedicated servers does suck though.

Single player is just insane.

I'll throw the BS flag on the economy excuse. MW2 is projected to haul in around half a billion dollars... they can't possibly say they couldn't script dedicated servers because of the economy. There is a petition on IW's forums to script dedicated servers. The main reason I buy Multiplayer FPS's on the PC is for that reason (and Keyboard + Mouse > Controller). MW2 is gonna sit on my shelf collecting dust while I wait for DICE and EA to release Bad Company 2, or until IW does something about the MP.

I know it's BS but that was one of the reasons. What burns me up is they took the console version and slapped it on a PC DVD, they wanted all 3 system versions to come out at the same time. IW and Activision pretty much laughed at the 200K+ petition signatures.

If this is going to be the theme of FPS games on PC(no dedicated severs, HAVING to use clients like Steam install/play the game) I'll go buy a console tomorrow.

This game is awesome..it's just a shame it was a cluster**** installing it and having no dedicated servers.

my dad is going to try and fix it. it has three red lights on it and due to to much heat and bad sodder connections and hes great with elctonics so hopefuly he can fix it. my plan is to buy a new one with warrenty so i dont get boned but if he can fix it ill sell that with a controller and wireless headseat for 150$$$

So close to buying the game i cant wait all i heard was good about it. The only thing that looks like **** is the wide open maps.

Do it! The Campaign is great, although completely disturbing. Online play is fun, as always. Some of the Maps have the same layout of the previous game's maps. And the graphics are incredible, always with some of the interface changes that were made.

My little brother picked it up today. My father was not happy at all about the No Russian level.
Other then that, I played a bit XBL, and then went back to campaign. I turned it off after you see the ISS get destroyed in space.

Just played the "No Russian" level. I gotta say if the mission took place in Africa and the casualties were black; IW would be on every channeled labeled racists. But I guess as long as we are killing white people in the name of god, it's fine..

You do know in the "No Russian" level you don't actually have to shoot anyone, you can go through the whole mission without a shot fired, even against the police.

I shot as many people as possible. Even when they were crawling away, I chased some of them and shot them, also threw grenades. It's a game, I'm gonna enjoy playing it. I was just saying that if white people in this game were accidentally black, there would be a ***** storm.

If I remmeber correctly, one of the Resident Evil games took places in Africa, and you know Africa has black people, which equals black zombies. There was a **** storm about that....

EDIT* in RE5 it was even brought up that no one black worked on the game, so logically it was because it was meant to be racist..................................

FAMAS with Thermo Scope seems to the the wepon of choice around here.
SCAR-H is a BAMF, but I dont like the holo appature? The "glare" off of it sucks. id stick to a red dot site.

thermo scopes work well, unless you use the perks i do...then youre a ghost and everyone on the field cant shoot you.

holographic youll find has quicker, steadier aiming and also aims very well for far off enemies

Yeah I noticed that some of the people walking out in the clear are dark, and not highlighted in white.
I love just seeing a white head sticking out of a window, or just over a wall or bush....
FAMAS is dead on accurate too. I like that it shoots in 3 round bursts as well, keeps you on point.

As I said before with my clan, I think if you are stitionary in a place for 30 seconds or morr, you pop up on radar regardless if you have cold blooded or not, should be a perk called speculation.

Speculation - when your team is fired upon for a period of time from a single player, with the gathered trajectory of the bullets hitting, you are presented with a presumable location of the ****ing camper.

i ahve been pretty succesful at keeping a low profile sniping. Its what keeps me playing these games, i like seeing a high accuracy and high kill death ratio. i like numbers

Got cold blood for the aerial attacks, scarmbler, silenced wa or the bolt attaction in hardcore backed up with a claymore. If i dont kill with the first shot i dont usually shoot again just so i keep my location.

yeah sniping is pretty tough, sometimes i dont have the patience for it. i did pretty good in cod 4 18-0 and cod 5 20-0 camping my ass off lol. i havent been too successful sniping on cod 6. i like using the noob tube lol. if i play headquarters, ill usually stick with the P90 silenced with red dot

i understand hardcore is supposed to be hardcore but how come everyone that plays it just sits and camps their ass off. thats not hardcore at all. its just a bunch of noobs trying to level up quickly.

actually i have been leveling really slow compared to everyone else. i am level 37 while most people are much higher then that, that have been playing for the same amount of time

ahaha, my brother yells at me when I just fire a few rounds off. He'll say "STOP DOING THAT, JUST HOLD DOWN THE TRIGGER AND KILL THEM!!"

Im getting better with the SCAR-H, but the AA-12 helps out in close combat. Im also getting pretty good at the grenade toss.

I was using the G18 for a 2nd wepon, but holding down the trigger made it harder to hit anything.
AA12...now that will get the job done.

i carry the holographic site scar and the stinger missles.

eff helicopters and harriers....theyre garbage to me :wink: if i run out of bullets with the scar i just rely on my hunters knife....so far ive stacked up close to a few hundred knife kills :lol:

im like 70 percent done the challenges in the multiplayer. i have multiple classes made for different styles of playing. its a fun game. i almost have pro versions of every perks...i just need to master all the guns now :mrgreen:
