Josh was in a bad motorcycle accident Sunday night when an SUV pulled out in front of him to make a left turn and stopped in the road. The driver left the scene while he was unconscious. His back, neck and wrist are broken but luckily he will still be able to walk.

He has asked that people have patience if he doesn't answer business calls or emails right away. In true Josh form, he will still take on work and does not want to turn any jobs down, but cannot currently get online to answer emails.

I'm sure me or Kat will keep this updated with his progress

also, if anyone in the Philly area sees a silver SUV with driver side damage from an orange motorcycle, please contact Bensalem PD

JS is a good supporter, a funny guy, and a hell of a mechanic, and the last thing he needs is some jack ass to not only almost end his ability to move, but possibly his life, and then with no soul ,just drive away like they ran over a cup. Makes me want to hunt this ass down myself, Wish Paul was here right now, he'd catch him. it's people like that that poison this world.

now that i've had a minute to digest this and pray for josh, i'm thinking it probably didn't go down like that. they probably thought they'd killed him and ran out of fear. fear makes people do strange things, things they'd never thought they would do or even thought possible. no two of us react exactly the same to the same fear or even the same way twice to the same fear. in the wild cards of variables, fear is the ace of spades. i'm not sticking up for the repugnant pool of diarrhea - i hope he dies and lives eternity having his flesh burned off his body before sliding into a nice, cool pool of alcohol. i'm just thinking out loud.

i txt Josh today about parts not knowing about this until he responded "im in the hospital". im gonna try to stop up and see him sometime this week (hopefully it rains so i dont work) i know it sucks being alone in a hospital and sometimes just someone visiting can make you feel a little better.

No worries about him being alone for very long.. His room was the party room last night. When I walked into the hospital and asked for his room number the guy said "there's that room again..." and gave it to me without looking it up. There were about a dozen ppl in there. But I'm sure it's not like that all the time and he'll appreciate the visit.

I haven't been around here much recently, and an increased work load has kept me from popping in on Josh at the shop. So, needless to say, I was floored when I just read this! I just called Josh, thinking I'd get his voicemail, but I got the man himself! This man is one tough hombre, and it was a big relief to me to hear him in pretty good spirits. He knows we are all pulling for him, and I kinda feel bad because I had him laughing, and it hurts him to laugh. But Josh is like a brother to me, and it is just so easy to rap and yuck it up with him. I'm sure he will pull through this w/ flying colors, and even though it sucks he got hurt, I'm glad there isn't a funeral involved! GET WELL QUICK, 'CAUSE I NEED SOME AMSOIL!!! :mrgreen:

I am not sure of what the future will hold fo me or JSP but if I can afford to pay the medical bills and the shop rent at the same time i will. You should put out a reward for any info that leads to the arrest of the driver. Anything you put up will surely pay off multiple times in the lawsuit and you'll be able to pay the shop rent. Ill be checking in on ya tomorrow :)

I called the shop yesterday 2 different times (about car related stuff having no idea what happened) and there was no answer, so I just assumed Josh was really busy...I feel like such a tool for not finding out till now.

he's pretty beat up.... but he looks good....... and he jokes a lot so i'm not worried..... i'll tell him you asked about him and let him get into the extent of his injuries if so chooses

I never understood back pain until I was hit by 2 seperate @ssholes not paying attentiaon and they caused permanent damage to my neck and back

If you need to talk to anyone regarding back/ neck stuff, feel free to shoot me a pm.

I work for Mercedes-Benz corporate headquarters. We recieved a letter from the family of a hit and run victim. There was enough damage on the ground that they were able to get some parts of the other car - head light housing, inside tail lights etc - all of them had part numbers. This family included all the part numbers and the region in which the accident occured.

We did some internal work and was able to narrow down which model vehicle - we flagged all of those specific replacement parts in our system and eventually the hit and run person was caught.

You might want to explore that idea.

Now, I am going back to my muscle relaxers, nerve inhibitors, pain killers, ice and heat, and finally sleeping pills.....all because of careless drivers

Just an update, I am still alive!
Went to the shop this week to try to get some work done. You couldnt imagine how hard it is to try to work on a car with one hand and a neck brace on! Frustrates the hell outta me but the bills don't pay themselves.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and visits (even if its just to bust balls) helps to cheer me up a bit.

Got the bike home... WOW its pretty much just an engine and tail section now.. I guess the LE Hayabusa just got limited by one more.. Hopefully there are some parts left to sell.
