E-Brake

i did something very stupid today, i pulled a little harder on the e-brake to park it and i pulled it too far and snapped something and now it doesnt work what do i do?

probably snapped on of the 3 cables. Raise the car up safely, go under , and look. One off the handle is up above the driveshaft. Then theres 2 that run to each rear wheel caliper/drum.
